About the Plant

       

ESC's hazardous treatment plant was founded in Ramat-Hovav Industrial Zone, south of Beer-Sheva at the site where hazardous waste was stored by previous operators since ca. 1980.  The area where these previous activity took place is now undergoing remediation.

ESC's plant treats:


Organic waste – solid and liquid
· Inorganic waste – solid and liquid
· Solid waste (insoluble and non-volatile)
The plant does not treat:
· Radioactive waste
· Explosive waste
· Pathogenic waste
Plant services:
· Physico-chemical facility for inorganic waste
· Facility for biological treatment of contaminated soil
· EPA standard-compliant landfills
· Incineration facility for organic waste
· Solidification/Stabilisation plant for inorganic waste before Landfill (under construction)
· Laboratory
· Exportation of waste for treatment in facilities abroad
· Facility for recycling of oil filters (“Green-green garage”)
· Facility for the treatment of fluorescents
